Description: "Base Ball Goods For Sale" advertising display by Spalding c.1900s-10s. Nicely illustrated advertising piece showing an early game in play with "Base Ball Goods For Sale" text along the bottom. Presently displayed within a 22.5"x26.5" vintage wood frame with the visible area being around 13"x17". It represents the majority of what was once a larger piece which had "Spalding's" brand name across the top. The right side also extended out far enough for the word "Here" to have appeared in the lower corner. There are only a few visible flaws (mostly in the form of some very minor discoloration/toning) and it has been separated into (2) pieces down the center vertically (reason unknown). Despite not being the full piece as it was issued, it retains very sharp display value as an early advertising display: See description
