Description: Yale baseball team photograph c.1889. Sepia toned 7"x9" photograph showing uniformed members of the Yale varisty baseball team c.1889. Believed to be shown among the group are Amos Alonzo Stagg and Pudge Heffelfinger. Both were standout baseball players but would gain far greater fame for their contributions to football. Mounted to backing which has been trimmed down at the edges and there are a pair of large creases (the smaller of which is at upper left and cracks the backing board: FR/GD
