Description: Rare Mickey Mantle autographed 1952 banquet program - a celebration thrown in his honor. Charming original program issued for an October 17, 1952 banquet thrown in honor of Mickey Mantle in his hometown of Commerce, Oklahoma. Period newspaper accounts relay that thousands also turned out to attend a parade which was part of the festivities. The Yankees had just won the World Series and The Mick, then (20) years old, had hit a pair of homeruns to lead the effort. Heavy stock front cover has an illustration of Mantle at bat and opens to reveal text reading, "Banquet Honoring Mickey Mantle..." He has signed the following page in fountain pen, along with teammate Allie Reynolds (also a native of Commerce), rating 9-9/10 out of 10. Mild general handling wear including a horizontal crease (effecting all pages) and there is a stain and some upper surface paper loss to the lower right front cover. Includes full LOA from JSA: Sigs.
