Description:"The Slide" - 1992 NLCS Braves vs. Pirates Line-up cards with Sid Bream autographed ticket stub. Pair of original carbon copy line-up cards used during the October 10, 1992 Braves vs. Pirates National League Championship Series game played in Atlanta. It was the 7th and deciding game of an already intense series and the Pirates were up 2-0 heading into the bottom of the 9th inning. Terry Pendelton hit a lead-off double and Dave Justice reached base on an infield error. Sid Bream was then walked to load the bases and Pendleton scored on a sacrifice fly. Having stepped to the plate only (10) times in the regular season, backup catcher Francisco Cabrera was up next and hit a single to left field over Jay Bell at shortstop. Dave Justice easily scored and Bream was waved home by the third base coach. Barry Bonds fielded the ball and while his throw arrived first it was off target allowing Bream to score the winning run advancing the Braves to their second consecutive World Series appearance. Line-up cards (FR/GD) have creasing, wrinkles, and other wear with circles of residue/paper loss suggesting that they may have hung in either dugout. Original ticket stub showing moderate wear (VG/EX) has been signed by Bream in marker rating 9 out of 10. Includes auction LOA from JSA: Line-up cards FR/GD, Ticket VG/EX, Sig. NM
