Description: Lot of (10) c.1940s Babe Ruth candid photographs (with some additional pieces). Series of candid photographs with the majority showing Ruth as he takes part in what looks to have been a weekend at a lake complete with fishing, hunting, and some general relaxation. The Babe can clearly be seen in a total of (10) smaller pieces which measure from 2"x2.75" to 2.5"x3.5". He again is shown in (4) larger pieces (3.5"x5.5" to 8"x10") however it appears that (2) of these are later second period photographs. There are varying degrees/types of light to moderate wear and (3) of the smaller pieces are mounted to scrapbook page backing.
