Description: Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays endorsed "Pitch-Up" practice set by Transogram c.1960s. Vintage batting practice set by Transogram was endorsed by Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays and marketed on a large (10.5"x28.5") backer card. Each of the Hall of Famers is shown in a large portrait image along the right side. When released, the included plastic bat was attached as was a smaller package which contains a plastic ball and the apparatus which would send it into the air when stepped on. The bat came loose and is presently held in place by a modern zip-tie at the top. The smaller package appears to be partially affixed with staples. Backer card has areas of heavy wear which include creases, some breaks to the material, and toning/discoloration. One of the rare style Mantle/Mays Transogram pieces from the period.
