Original black and white 8"x10" image picturing Team USA which travelled to Yugoslavia to participate in the 1970 World Basketball Championships. Players are posed in full uniform including Bill Walton and Kenny Washington. Minor surface wrinkling with two small tears at top edge. The lot also includes 1970 typewritten letter to Walton regarding travel to the event and two handwritten note pages written in Bill Walton's hand. Content of the notes is very interesting including, in part, "I think I made the team."; "Sore knee, sore feet."; and "No Haircut, extremely lonely".
