Description: Bill Walton 1970 Team USA related lot including signed handwritten letters. Grouping of materials with relation to Walton's participation on Team USA which travelled to Yugoslavia to participate in the 1970 World Basketball Championships. Includes 4/28/1970 and 5/6/1970 two page handwritten letters from Walton to his family with content regarding his travels to the Championships including "I never do anything except practice, eat, sleep, and a little studying." and "The other team was out for blood but we weren't up for the game very much. We still won by 16 points." Both letters have been encapsulated by PSA/DNA (authentic) and are signed on second page, "Bill" in blue ink. The lot also includes: 1) Typewritten itinerary and several pages of. handwritten notes by Walton one of which is team roster in which he identifies himself. 2) Small shadowbox display with various memorabilia from the Tour including souvenir enamelwork pins, color team photograph, and 1970 related mini pennant. 3) Five 3"x5" original black and white images from the World Championship Games including players in uniform. Includes certificate of provenance from Walton Family: Range VG-NM
