Description: Fine Bill Walton UCLA Bruins Varsity Basketball Captain letterman's jacket c.1973-74. Important original jacket as worn by Walton during his senior season with the UCLA Bruins basketball team to which he was named captain. Heavy gauge navy blue wool jacket with white leather sleeves displaying embroidered "C" patch with "UCLA" titling across the front. Whitin, Los Angeles manufacturer's label on the interior collar area with evident use visible throughout. Interior satin lining has a few scattered tears otherwise jacket presents in outstanding overall condition. Important jacket with relation to Walton's well earned designation as captain of the Bruins team having delivered two NCAA championships in his sophomore and junior seasons.
