Description: 1969 Bill Walton Helix High School Varsity Basketball jacket. Classic letterman's style green wool jacket with grey leather sleeves as worn by Walton during his varsity season with the Helix High School team in which he was selected as an All-American player. Whiting, Los Angeles manufacturer's label inside the collar area with CIFSD championship patch on breast area. Moderate use throughout with some scattered moth damage to front of jacket concentrated around the left pocket. Unique equipment piece relating to the formative period within Walton's basketball career in which he began to emerge as a dominant player.
