Description: 1971-72 Bill Walton UCLA Bruins NCAA Championship ring (NCAA Player of the Year Season). Original ring as presented to Bill Walton as a member of the 1971-72 NCAA Champion UCLA Bruins men's basketball team. Classic collegiate style ring features inset blue stone on top surrounded by "UCLA NCAA Champions" lettering. Side panel shows Bruins team name above a basketball image having "1972" date on it. Opposite side panel lists the seven seasons in which UCLA previously won the NCAA title. Interior ring band is stamped with Balfour 10K hallmark and engraved "WTW III" initials. Beautiful original condition free of any notable wear or damage with size of 11 and weight of .8 ounces. Along with Bill Walton's 1972-73 example, of the more significant NCAA Championship player rings to be offered at public auction with relation to an iconic three time NCAA Player of the Year award recipient.
