Description: Uncle Sam Skeleton original animation artwork from the Grateful Dead Movie c.1976. Rare original artwork was created for the animation which appears in the 1976 Grateful Dead Movie depicting one of the band's most famed characters. The artwork itself measures approx. 3.5"x9" at extremes and is mounted to backing which is inscribed "To Bill! Keep on dancing" followed by the artists signature (appears to read Rita Wasil Fiedler). Framed to 12"15" and there is a note from Rita on the back (dated 2022) explains that she was living in San Francsico in 1976 and was part of the staff which created the animated portion of the movie.
