Description: February 12, 1972 and March 13, 1972 Bill Walton UCLA Bruins Player of the Week awards. (NCAA Champions). Pair of walnut wooden plaques each with embossed brass figural basketball décor and inscribed brass placard on black or red vellum surface to Bill Walton from the Southern California Basketball Writers Association. Brass placards have some areas of loss to the plating primarily at the corners and the black/red vellum background areas show scattered surface wear including some separation from plaque. Top right corner area of the February award has some losses to back of the wooden plaque which are largely not visible behind the black background. 8"x11" each. Fine awards dating to Walton's NCAA Championship season with the UCLA Bruins. Includes certificate of provenance from Walton Family: Range PR/GD-VG/EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
