Description:1976 John "Frenchy" Fuqua attributed Pittsburgh Steelers professional model jersey (heavy use and team repairs) (Steelers Pro Shop provenance). White jersey with black and yellow sleeve accent stripes has number "33" on the front, back, and shoulders. Sand-Knit "Designed & Tailored Exclusively…" tag is on the front tail with an additional below noting size (46). A "76" printed year tag is to one side. Heavy use is evident throughout including numerous team repairs. The outlines of at least (2) nameplates can be seen on the back with one smaller (presumably having read "Fuqua") while the other is far longer suggesting that jersey was re-issued to Anthony Anderson who wore number (33) starting in 1979 (Fuqua having worn it from 1970 to 1976). Fuqua played on the Steelers Super Bowl IX and X Championship teams and while his play merits recognition he may be better remembered as one of the flashiest dressers in the NFL during his time. While not hologrammed it does include the original Steelers Pro Shop price tag. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions: EX
