Description: 1978 Lynn Swann Pittsburgh Steelers professional model game used jersey - photo matched to November 27th game (season high 134 yards and 2 touchdowns) (Art Rooney II letter). White jersey has number "88" on the front, back, and shoulders and there is a "Swann" nameplate across the back. Medalist Sand-Knit "Designed & Tailored Exclusively..." tag is on the front tail with additional below noting size (44). A "78" printed year tag is to one side. Nice use (including a small team repair) is evident throughout. A letter signed by Art Rooney II further confirms that it was game worn and remained in the Steelers equipment repository until its' initial sale in 2019. It has been photo matched by Sports Investor to the Steelers November 27, 1978 game at San Francisco in which he scored a pair of touchdowns. Swann ranks among the most respected and highly regarded wide receivers of the modern era and played on all (4) of the "Steel Curtain" era Championship teams.
