Prestigious honor is presented annually by the Walter Camp Foundation with stated criteria that considers "success, leadership, public service, integrity, and commitment to American heritage and Walter Camp's philosophy." Past recipients have included Gale Sayers, Otto Graham, Roger Staubach, Don Shula, Lynn Swann, Lou Holtz, Dick Butkus, John Elway, and a host of other notables. Wooden plaque (14"x18") has a cast metal relief at the top showing a game in play. A metal plate below reads "Walter Camp Football Foundation, Floyd Little, Syracuse University, Man Of The Year 1978." Signed on the back in marker rating 7 out of 10.
