Description: 1999 Chili Davis New York Yankees "game used" jersey with World Series patch and DiMaggio armband (Yankees/Steiner LOA). Road gray jersey has "New York" team name lettered across the front and number "45" on back. Russell Athletic tag on the front tail notes size (52). A printed strip tag below (loose along the bottom) reads "Davis - 99" and there are Polyester, custom length, and custom taper flag tags. A World Series patch appears on the left sleeve and while the included Yankees/Steiner letter refers to the jersey as a "Game Used World Series" shirt Davis did not play in any road games in Atlanta. Black arm band and number "5" on the opposite sleeve were worn in honor of Joe DiMaggio. Very strong use and wash wear are evident throughout suggesting that it saw wear multiple times during the regular season and then had the patch applied.
