Description: Willie Mays Chesterfield advertising display c.1950s. Rarely offered sign dating to Mays' time with the Giants in New York. It presently measures 18"x22 with about (3) inches trimmed from the left side. Central portion is in very strong condition with bold and crisp color. Touch of wear to the corners and edges and there are two small spots of paper loss along the bottom. Back has a strip of upper surface material missing from the center and a series of discolored spots around the edges (presumably rust from nails which long secured it in a frame): VG with superior display valueEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,250)
