Description: 1953 Mickey Mantle autographed J.D. McCarthy postcard (Joplin postmark) (PSA/DNA 9 MINT). Early postcard has been signed "Best Wishes Mickey Mantle" in ink with autograph graded "Mint 9" by PSA. The early career era signature style is highly desirable and Mantle sent the postcard to its' original recipient in January of 1953 from his hometown of Joplin, MO (as confirmed by the postmark). Marked "J.D. (Charlie) McCarthy" on the back and the name/address which was written on has been gone over in both ink and marker. It otherwise shows some light corner and edge wear.
