Description: Very fine late Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig autographed baseball c.1927-29 (PSA/DNA 6 EX-MT). Red and blue stitched Reach E.Barnard Official American League baseball has been signed "Babe Ruth" across the sweetspot with "Lou Gehrig" appearing on an adjacent panel. The autographs are ideally positioned such that both can be viewed at the same time when displayed. Ball shows mild even toning with a few scattered surface scuffs/scrapes. Authenticated and graded by PSA with the Ruth autograph assessed as a "7", Gehrig a "6", and the baseball at "5." Overall grade is "6". With appropriate deference to the technical grade level that the ball was assigned overall, we submit that its' eye appeal far exceeds that rating with note to the spectacular positioning of the autographs (Gehrig typically appearing far lower on the panel).
