Description: 1946 Billy Herman autographed Brooklyn Dodgers contract (twice signed by Branch Rickey). Uniform Player's Contract as executed between Herman and the Brooklyn Dodgers for whom he would play in (47) games during the 1946 season before being traded to the Boston Braves in June. Signed "William J. Herman" inside with his handwritten address below. It has been signed "Branch Rickey" on behalf of the team just above. Rickey has also signed on the back just below a typed statement which reassigned the contract to Boston. National League President Ford Frick has likewise signed twice. All signatures are done in fountain pen rating 8 to 9 out of 10. Touch of light toning and some mild handling and storage wear.
