Description: Rare Duke Snider professional model baseball bat c.1955-57. *Model number updated in description ("C117L"). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Snider facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 33.4oz. Model number "C117L" has been factory stamped in the knob. Evident usage wear includes grain swelling (primarily concentrated on the upper hitting surface) due to repeated contact and some scattered rack marks. A small chip on the knob and minor crack to reverse of the barrel have been professionally restored. A notarized statement relays that bat was obtained from the estate of former Major League player Don Gile.
