Description: Extremely rare Phoenixville majolica pitcher with polychrome baseball decoration c.1890 (EX/MT) Seldom offered multi color variation remains highly sought after as both a baseball and majolica collectible. Stands 8" tall with raised baseball scene on one side and European football on the reverse. Retains fine color, including pink finished interior, with only light typical surface crazing to glaze. Stamped with impressed Griffin, Hill, & Smith "Etruscan Majolica" mark on bottom (which has a small handwritten number notation): EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$1,500)
