Hard cover edition marked "first printing" with 1960 publication date has been signed on the inside flyleaf, "Jackie Robinson." Dated May 13, 1960, Robinson has written a lengthy personalized note reading in part, "To Philip Liebman with best wishes. Its been a pleasure working with you. Its people with the decency of a Phil Liebman that will end the problems we have and make it unnecessary for a book like Wait Till Next Year." Also signed "To Carl, Rachael Robinson." Blue ink signatures rate 8 to 8/9 out of 10. Book itself has little to no mentionable wear, dustjacket has some fraying and small tears at corners/edges. Includes auction LOA from JSA: Sigs.
