Description: Lot of (2) Louisville Slugger related display pieces. Includes Ty Cobb memorial sign c.1961, 12"x16" black and white display issued to commemorate Cobb's life and relationship with the H&B company: EX and April 27, 1947 Babe Ruth Day artist proof display piece, 11"x16" in a period matting and frame. Appears to have been a proof of some sort as it has a hand drawn caricature on Ruth's shoulder with "Hi Ya Kid" slogan: EX. Includes letter of provenance from the Hillerich & Bradsby Co.
