Description: Important Lefty Grove 299th win game autographed and inscribed baseball. Soiled baseball showing evident game use has been signed on the side panel, "Lefty Grove." Handwritten above (by Grove himself) is the date, "July 3, 1941", and a box score recounting detail of the A's vs. Red Sox game played at Shibe Park. In addition, he has written the number "299" on the sweetspot. It would be the second to last win of a Hall of Fame career which stretched (17) seasons. A significant offering which represents one of the highest number player attributed win balls extant. Includes small box in which the ball was housed/presented to a friend of the Grove Family, letter of provenance from the grandchildren of Lefty Grove, and full LOA from PSA/DNA: EXEstimated Price Range: ($7,500-$10,000)
