Description: 1990 Don Mattingly New York Yankees professional model home uniform. Very fine complete uniform from "Donnie Baseball" includes a pinstriped white knit New York Yankees home jersey retaining its original "NY" patch on front and #23 on the reverse. "Mattingly 90 4" in navy blue swiss embroidery appears on a white strip tag inside the collar with Wilson mfg. tagging on the tail front. The left sleeve of the jersey displays vestiges of the numeral "1" Billy Martin memorial patch. Matching pants have Wilson mfg. tagging on the interior along with a similar strip tag noting Mattingly's name, year, set, and size. Both the jersey and pants exhibit evident use including some soiling and areas of surface pilling. The shirt and pants are each signed, "Don Mattingly Donnie Baseball" in blue sharpie.
