Description: Veterans Stadium home plate. Original home plate was once used at Philadelphia's Veterans Stadium and subsequently de-accessioned when the stadium was demolished. 20"x20" plate consists of a black rubber border with white interior exhibiting evident usage including surface indentations and red clay residue. The top of the plate has been signed, "Mike Schmidt Home Plate Vet Stadium" in blue sharpie. Interesting and unique item with relation to the beloved Philadelphia stadium. Includes LOA from JSA (autograph) and letter of provenance from the original recipient: EXEstimated Price Range: ($5,000-$7,500)
