Description: Alex Agase 1946 All-American Football presentation blanket (EX-EX/MT). Large 58"x76" red blanket with white and blue trim. Blanket was presented to Alex Agase in 1946 to signify his All-American selections in 1943 and 1946 at Illinois by the All America Board of Football. Blanket has stitched "1943" on the upper left corner, "1946" on the upper right, and "ALEXANDER AGASE - ILLINOIS" at the center with the All-America logo patch. Blanket retains its original Pendleton Woolen Mills tag on the lower left corner. Includes a letter of provenance signed by Alex Agase: EX-EX/MTFinal Bid: $304.00
