Description: Babe Ruth chalkware figural statue c.1970s (EX display value, see description) Outstanding display piece being an 18" tall likeness of Babe Ruth made from chalkware with bronze colored wash. Scattered wear includes a few small cracks and nicks and it appears that a larger (perhaps full) split on legs (near knees) may have been fixed. Front of hat brim missing small chip as well. In addition, there may have been a few areas filled in and/or repainted where the coloration is slightly different. Partially visible artists signature on base is hard to discern but may read "West."
