Description: 1954 Bowman near complete set (222 of 224 cards and #66 Piersall) in nice avg. EX condition (Range GD/VG-NM *see description*) Fine start to a very nice complete set with many strong condition cards and a good number which present/display at greater level than technical grade would indicate. Please note that the Mantle card is trimmed. We have noted that two other keys are possibly trimmed (not as drastic as Mantle) and it is possible/likely that a small number of other cards which are not listed below are trimmed as well. Missing #26 Cox and #89 Mays. Keys: #1 Rizzuto (VG), 6 Fox (VG), 15 Ashburn (VG/EX appearance trimmed at top edge), 45 Kiner (VG/EX-EX O/C), 50 Kell (EX-EX/MT), 58 Reese (EX/MT O/C), 64 Mathews (EX/MT-NM O/C), 65 Mantle (trimmed and has small area of surface/material loss on back, displays at EX/MT-NM level), 84 Doby (VG/EX-EX O/C with very light small crease near one corner), 90 Campanella (EX/MT miscut), 95 Roberts (EX with stronger appearance but downgrade due to impression near top edge), 132 Feller (VG/EX), 138 Hodges (EX ), 145 Martin (VG/EX O/C), 161 Berra (VG O/C), 170 Snider (EX-EX/MT), 177 Ford (EX appearance, possibly trimmed at top edge), 196 Lemon (EX/MT-NM): Avg.
