Description: 1928 Yuengling's Ice Cream near complete set (51 of 60 cards) incl. Gehrig, Cobb, and (28) other Hall of Famers (see description) Desirable grouping of (51) different cards from the 1928 Yuengling's Ice Cream set. All were previously housed within an album or otherwise mounted and backs have either small areas of paper loss or paper residue. Otherwise there are varying degrees of light to moderate toning and scattered wear with a small number having somewhat more accentuated condition flaws. We have pictured a fair number of the better names in order to give an accurate representation of overall eye appeal and several backs which illustrate a general cross section of damage. Two cards (Cobb and Gehrig) have been encapsulated by SGC with assigned grade of (10 Poor).
