| Description: Folk art Cooperstown Baseball Centennial painted sign c.1939. Elongated wooden sign of three board construction created in celebration of the centennial baseball celebration held in Cooperstown,NY 1939. According to former owner it was one of four signs created that were placed at each major entrance into the city as 'welcome' signs.
