| Description: Harry Truman single signed baseball. Lt. cream color Harridge AL ball signed on a side panel by President Harry Truman. Signature rates 5/6 out of 10 due to some age fading, ball itself is fairly clean with a few areas of lt. wear. Obtained in person by Emmett Lanier as batboy for the Senators at a game in which Truman threw out the first pitch. Presidential single signed baseballs with direct provenance are very difficult to locate. Includes letter of provenance from Emmett Lanier, LOA from James Spence PSA/DNA, and a signed photo of Lanier with Clark Griffith and General Wainwright: VG-EX |
