| Description: Large Philadelphia Phillies sign from Connie Mack Stadium c.1950s-60s. 47" diam. circular baseball shaped sign is attributed to the press room at Connie Mack Stadium. Comprised of 1/2" thick paperboard with applied graphic including classic Phillies script logo and period Phillies cap against a baseball motif background. Sign was believed to have hung behind the press table at Connie Mack Stadium. Shows some surface and edge wear and a small area of water damage at the upper left. Significant artifact from one of baseball's most storied ball parks retains outstanding display quality: VG-EX |
