| Description: Reach leather football helmet c.1915-25. Large leather helmet with slightly elongated ear pads stamped with Reach logo on front along with 1A model number. Original chin strap that runs from left to right has the ear piece attached to the ends rather than the body of the helmet. The swoop design of the harness itself resembles the helmets worn by the Romans and Spartans save for the presence of the ear flaps and forehead piece.
