| Description: Canvas and leather flat top football helmet c.1900-10. Early canvas helmet retains its original canvas chin strap (partially detached) with the leather trim and top including air holes. The cotton lining is fully intact and the leather top is still soft and supple with a 3" dry area on one side of the leather top rim with a bit a chaffing. Nice and clean early flat top example that is increasingly difficult to find: VG-EX |
