| Description: Los Angeles Rams professional model helmet c.1960s. Riddell professional model helmet features the uncommon blue and white color combination instituted by the Rams in the mid 1960s lasting through the early 1970s era. Helmet exterior shows heavy use including scratching and areas of paint flaking. The painted surface remains fully original with desirable crazed surface. Interior suspension padding remains intact with the exception of the small rubber "donut" pad. Remnants of the original rubber facemask are visible on the front exterior area. Player attribution is unclear. Includes Xerox copy of a 1973 letter on Rams stationary sent to Biernat from equipment manager Don Hewitt referencing the offered helmet.
