| Description: Fine Honus Wagner large format studio photograph c.1912. Substantive 13"x20" matted and framed portrait of Honus Wagner posed in full Pitt. Pirates uniform. Wagner is pictured seated with a baseball bat. Matte finish image remains in fine original condition with only minimal surface wear. The offered image is one of only two known exemplars, the other of which was in a lesser condition grade. Additionally, we once handled a similar large format image of Pirates player/coach Fred Clarke which was executed in a nearly identical fashion.
