| Description: Victorian scrapbook of tobacco cards including 1887 Allen & Ginter N28 complete set. Bound 8"x11" period composition style album contains (158) 19th century tobacco cards. The key grouping in the album is a complete (10) card set of 1887 Allen & Ginter N28 baseball cards. Players include Bennett, Ward, Kelly, Clarkson, Keefe, Mulvey, Anson, Glasscock, Caruthers, and Comiskey. All of the cards have been affixed to the album in the period and are removable if so desired. Card fronts range from VG-EX with Comiskey and Anson among the better condition exemplars. The album also contains Allen & Ginter boxers, Allen & Ginter Oakley and Cody cards, Duke Cigarettes 'Great Men' cards, and A&G "Birds" series.
