| Description: Rare 1901 Pittsburgh Pirates team photograph. Attractive period image of the NL Champion Pirates posed in three rows in full uniform with early equipment arranged in front. Players include Honus Wagner, Deacon Phillippe, Jack Chesbro, Harry Davis, and Fred Clarke. The image exhibits wonderful contrast and retains its original surface. There is a small surface scratch which has been inpainted near the right side which is visible upon close inspection. Marked on the back, "Pittsburg Photographic Co., Commercial Photography; Phone 688, 321 5th Ave." 9 1/4"x11 1/2" matted and framed.
