| Description: Lot of (2) game used American League baseballs from the collection of Joe DiMaggio c.1946-51. Pair of Wm. Harridge American League baseballs with evident game use found in the DiMaggio collection. The baseballs were found with the other significant event baseballs such as the streak balls and Joe's 2,000th hit ball. One of the baseballs has a significant impact mark on a side panel along with general usage wear. The other baseball also exhibits evident use including a few areas of wear. While it is impossible to ascertain why Joe DiMaggio kept the offered baseballs, it is almost certain that they were important in some fashion as Joe was documented on several occasions to have been "keeping significant baseballs from his career".
