| Description: Joe DiMaggio's 1978 New York Yankees World Series ring. Original ring presented to Joe DiMaggio for the Yankees 1978 World Championship. Top of the ring has a single inset diamond on a blue field surrounded by (21) diamonds placed around the perimeter. "World Champions" lettering encircles the ring. One side panel features Yankees logo with an image of the stadium while the other has "DiMaggio" nameplate above interlocked "1978" and "NY". Interior ring band has "LGB 14K" impressed along with "Greatest Come Back in History" referring to the Yankees historic comeback from being down two games to none.
