Description: Baseball Centennial pinball arcade machine c.1939. Rare full standing wooden cased pinball arcade game, made to commemorate the 1939 Baseball Centennial, has a painted wooden playing surface with various baseball graphics. The commemoration of the baseball centennial is notated on the playing field as well. Reverse painted glass on the back splash remains very clean featuring the classic Joe DiMaggio style batter associated with the 1939 Centennial logo. The machine itself appears to have been well cared for with minimal usage wear. Amazingly, the game is in full working order, including numerous electrical lightings on both the playing field and backsplash area. Overall size is 22" wide, 50" long, and 38" tall. Made by the Davall Co. in Chicago, the offered game is the first example that we have handled and given its dated production was likely not created in large quantity: EX-MT
