| Description: Scarce William "Buck" Ewing auto. typed letter. Dated Oct. 15, 1898 typewritten letter on J.F. Hillerich & Son stationary endorsing Louisville Slugger bats. Letter is boldly signed "Wm. Ewing" in black ink at the bottom rating 9 out of 10. The paper has light original fold line and has some slight separation at one joint on the left edge. Ewing is one of the most desired and elusive of all 19th century Hall of Famer autographs. Significant piece originating from an impeccable source.
