| Description: Scarce Los Angeles Rams jacket attributed to Tom Fears c.1948-56. Early yellow fleece jacket with original "Rams" team name on front. Retains Fredericks & Co. tag in collar and Sand Knit tag inside jacket. Jacket was obtained by former Rams equipment manager Don Hewitt. Fears was inducted into the football HOF in 1970 on the merits of his brilliant receiving career which includes a record (18) catch game against the Green Bay Packers in 1950. Includes LOA from David Bushing/Dan Knoll/Lou Lampson and letter of provenance from Don Hewitt confirming that this was in fact Fears' jacket: EX |
