Description: Significant 1916 Chicago White Sox team auto. baseball. Off white Goldsmith "Western League" ball signed by (12) members of the 1916 Sox incl. Walsh, Lapp, Leibold, Ness, F.McMullin (One of eight men out. Ball has a few other non-roster signatures due to being signed at Spring Training, sigs range from 2-8 out of 10. McMullin is one of the toughest of the Black Sox as he died in 1952 and his signature display nicely as a single on a side panel. Walsh is positioned on the sweet spot and rates 7 out of 10. Ball originated from the collection of former Major League player and umpire George Moriarity and is so inscribed on side panel, "From White Sox Goofs to Geo. Moriarity-One of Us Spring 1916-WOW". Includes letter of provenance and LOA from James Spence PSA/DNA: Ball: EX, Signatures: Range GD-EX/MT
