Description: Early Joe Cronin professional model baseball bat c.1928-31 (EX) Louisville Slugger 125 model with Cronin facsimile signature burned into the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 35.8oz. Strong usage wear evident throughout with ball/contact marks covering the barrel. The handle has remnants of pinetar and tape residue and a severe crack has been repaired with vintage nails. Side written in grease pencil with the name/date no longer descernable. An outstanding example dating to the period just after Hall of Famer Joe Cronin joined the Washington Senators and embarked on a lifelong Hall of Fame career in baseball.
