Description: Rare 1945 Detroit Tigers World Championship trophy (EX/MT) Handled Sterling Silver bowl has been engraved on the lid, "To Neal Conway Ground Keeper Detroit Tigers 1945 World Champions from Detroit Baseball Fans". A figural batter stands at the center with bat which is a period replacement. Marked "Sterling" on both lid and base which weigh a combined 3lbs 7oz. A significant team issued presentational piece as relates to a fabled Championship season. Stands 12" tall with a touch of light tarnish and wear.
