Description: Fine c.1962-1969 Joe DiMaggio New York Yankees home uniform as worn for Old-Timers Day throughout the decade (EX) Cream colored home pinstriped flannel jersey with the classic "NY" logo on front has player number "5" on back. In the collar is a "DiMaggio" embroidered strip tag and the year "62" is chain stitched on the front tail. Also on the tail are "Spalding" manufacturers and size "44" tags. Wash tag inside has adjacent "Set 1 1962" flag tag. An original 1969 "100th Anniversary" patch on the left sleeve was added by the team, in the period, as the jersey was worn throughout the 1960s. Matching pants are similarly tagged by Spalding ("Set 1 1962") with "DiMaggio 5 36 62" embroidered strip tag (denoting player, number, size, and year). Strong usage and wash wear evident throughout with a team repair to the pants.
